Individualized care for complex, evolving, and hard-to-define health patterns
In-person sessions in Santa Fe, NM, beginning March 16, 2026
Rina offers individualized, whole-person support for those navigating long-standing, layered, or hard-to-define health concerns — including individuals who feel “off” without clear explanations or diagnoses, or whose symptoms don’t fit neatly into a label or diagnosis.
This work considers how your unique inherent constitution and current imbalances are interacting, and supports the body’s natural capacity for balance over time. This is accomplished with gradual, sustainable shifts rather than quick fixes.
This process is guided by the principles of Ayurveda.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of healing that provides a framework to maintain or restore a balanced state of health. Its name stems from "ayuh," meaning "life" or "longevity," and "veda," representing "knowledge" or "science." Thus, Ayurveda can be translated as “the science of longevity.”
Your original form represents your inherent constitution.
In Ayurveda, each of us is born with a unique constitution - a specific proportion of ether, air, fire, water, and earth elements which shapes the inherent state of each person’s body and mind.
These elements are organized into the three doshas, or energies which function as the primary governing principles of the body:
Vata (ether and air) - the principle of movement, orchestrating all activities of the body.
Pitta (fire and water) - the principle of transformation, governing metabolism and processing of sensory input.
Kapha (earth and water) - the principle of structure and cohesion, comprising physical tissues and bodily fluids.
Your original balance of these doshas is unique to you, and represents your prakruti — your inherent constitutional nature.
Inspire your body's natural intelligence.
Your prakruti represents your inherent constitution. Over time, we tend to shift away from this natural state, leading to our current state of imbalance, or vikruti - which plays a central role in the development of symptoms and disease.
Ayurveda understands that nothing is random; various factors such as our diet, lifestyle, thought patterns, and external environment play a role in our movement towards balance or imbalance.
Through Ayurvedic assessment, Rina’s approach is to understand the root cause of the imbalances contributing to your health concerns, and to address them at their root.
Rina works with people navigating chronic or long-standing health patterns, as well as with those who want to sustainably support overall health and longevity.
A holistic wellness plan tailored to your unique constitution.
The Ayurvedic approach recognizes that what is nourishing for one person may be destabilizing for another. One size does not fit all; substances, habits, and routines must be understood in relationship to the individual.
Rina recognizes the unique reality of each person and tailors her approach accordingly, drawing on Ayurvedic principles to meet each individual’s specific needs.
On your Ayurvedic journey with Rina, you will receive education and practical tools to support balance relative to your constitution. Over time, she will work with you to address underlying patterns related to diet, daily routine, environment, and stress responses to ultimately support your body’s natural intelligence to restore and maintain balance.
“Vata, pitta, and kapha are the three doshas. When balanced, they sustain and support the body. When disturbed, they give rise to disease.”

Understand Your Needs
Whether you are seeking support for a specific health concern or are interested in a general wellness consultation, your initial session involves a detailed intake process designed to understand both your inherent constitution as well as your current state of imbalance.
Rina will read your pulse (in-person), assess your tongue, nails, and skin. She will take a comprehensive look at your digestion, daily routines, diet, stress patterns, and historic tendencies in order to understand the broader context influencing your present state.
Personalized Wellness Plan
Based on this assessment, you will receive a personalized plan designed to support balance relative to your constitution and current needs. In many cases, this begins with attention to digestion, daily routine, and the removal of factors that are contributing to ongoing imbalance.
Recommendations may include guidance around diet and lifestyle, adjustments to daily routine, customized Ayurvedic herbal formulations, and contemplative practices such as meditation and breathwork, where appropriate.
Integration & Support
In most cases, you and Rina will continue to meet every 1-3 months, depending on your needs and how your body is responding. Follow-up consultations allow for refinement and adjustment over time as patterns shift and capacity builds.
Ayurveda views health as a dynamic process, shaped by constitution, environment, and daily choices over time.
Ultimately, Rina’s intention is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their own health, equipping them with the tools, education, and discernment needed to navigate change with confidence.

I am currently practicing as a Doctor of Ayurveda in Albuquerque, NM.
Before embarking on my Ayurvedic path, I graduated from New York University and worked in the world of corporate finance for 11 years, until some health challenges impelled me to leave New York City and seek a path that inspired wellness, balance, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
This journey landed me in India for six months, where I began to self-study and integrate Ayurveda into my own wellness journey.
During this time, I was fortunate to have an opportunity to spend a month shadowing Sudhirbhai Pandya, an Ayurvedic Doctor in Gujarat, India.
Seeing firsthand the direct impact of Ayurvedic therapies on clients’ physical and emotional health, combined with the transformative experience of having incorporated Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle practices into my own life, ultimately inspired me to study Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico. Dr. Lad is widely recognized as having spread Ayurveda from India to the West in the 1970’s, and his teachings beautifully integrate the classical principles of Ayurveda with the realities of a modern lifestyle in the Western world.
I found that in its approach to understanding the individual from a holistic perspective and through the lens of the doshas and elements, Ayurveda had the answers to the questions about my health that were a mystery to Western medical practitioners. It helped me understand the root cause of my imbalance and provided the framework to inspire my body’s natural intelligence to guide itself back to balance.
I found the balance that I was seeking through Ayurveda, and I am passionate about sharing and utilizing the centuries old wisdom of Ayurveda to support others on their own wellness journeys. I feel that this is a profound part of my dharma, or my purpose, in this lifetime.
Upon completing my Doctor of Ayurveda program in Asheville, I was called back to the “Land of Enchantment” to settle and endeavor to to serve the New Mexico community that the Institute had served for 40 years before moving to Asheville in 2022. In addition to in-person consultations in NM, all of my services are available via telehealth with the exception of Marma therapy.

Why ‘Ananta?’
Ananta is the Sanskrit word for that which is limitless, infinite, & boundless.
Ananta is a quality of Brahman, the absolute reality of universal Consciousness, and Atman, the individual self.
It is eternal and cannot be destroyed. The essence of Ananta embodies the limitless potential of the healing power of Ayurveda and the journey towards your highest self.
Occasionally used to refer to “sky,” the name Ananta was inspired by the vast horizons of the New Mexico landscape.
